What Ecuador must do to form top-level goal-scorers?

Carlos Tenorio, president of the Ecuadorian Footballers Association (AFE), said Ecuador has the conditions to continue producing top-level goal-scorers, but questioned the lack of an integral project.

In a conversation developed by the Secretary of Recreation, Culture and Sports of the Municipality of Quito, the former national team player was consulted by EL UNIVERSO on what clubs and the Ecuadorian Football Federation (FEF) should do to form goal-scorers for the future of the National Team.

Tenorio said that the work must begin with a clear plan: “The selector who has to come to direct our National Team has to be when the federation shows a project of what it seeks”. The president of the AFE questioned that the search for players is limited to a few spaces and does not respond to an integral project.
